Home for Chennai Super Kings has been an iconic stadium across the country. This stadium has hosted so may famous matches not only in IPL but international matches as well.

Wankhede Stadium Mumbai
Wankhede is home to the Mumbai Indians in the IPL. This is surely one of the most iconic if not the most iconic stadiums in India. It has always hosted big matches such as the 2011 world cup final which was won by India. So historically this stadium has got importance.
Capacity
Wankhede Stadium can host upto 33000 spectators at a time.

Narendra Modi Cricket stadium
In 2015, the Gujrat Cricket Association and BCCI decided to re-construct the Sardar Patel Stadium, which was an international stadium at the time. So in 2021, the project was done and they created one giant stadium in place of the old stadium. Since then the stadium has hosted some historical matches, such as the 2022 IPL final , 2023 IPL final and world cup 2023 final.
Capacity
This stadium is the biggest cricket stadium in the world capacity-wise and the second biggest sporting venue in the world being able to hold up to 110000 to 130000 fans at a go.

M. Chinnaswamy Stadium Bangaluru
Initially named the Karnataka State Cricket Association Stadium, named after M Chinnaswamy, who was the president of the Indian board from 1977 until 1980, and was involved in the administration of Karnataka cricket for close to four decades. The construction of the stadium was held in May 1969 and building began in 1970.
The stadium is home to Royal Challengers Bangaluru and has hosted some famous matches one of them is IPL final 2016.

This stadium can host 40000 spectators at one time.

Sawai Mansingh Stadium Jaipur
Home for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL has been a centre of attraction for many fans.
The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur hosted a solitary Test match, in February 1987. Jaipur hosted its first international debut with an India-Pakistan ODI in 1983-84 and it also hosted World Cup matches in 1987 and 1996. After some years a major renovation program happened that transformed a dull concrete bowl and also led to the establishment of an academy next to the ground.

Sawai Mansingh stadium can host 24000 fans at one time.

Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket stadium
Nowadays called Uppal Cricket Stadium stretches over 16 acres of land and is home to the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL has been one of the most advanced cricket stadiums in India. This stadium is also called Visaka Cricket Stadium named after Visaka Industries who were the contractors to build the stadium. Stadium has hosted a few big matches such as IPL final in 2018. stadium has two pavilions one one named after VVS Laxman and the other is Pavillion end

Stadium can absorb up to 55000 spectators in one go.

Arun Jaitley Stadium Delhi
Formerly known as Feroz Shah Kotla named after Feroz Shah who was the ruler of Delhi in the Mughal era. On September 12th, 2019 the Delhi Cricket Association renamed the stadium after the then finance and DDCA president Arun Jaitly. The stadium is the home venue for Delhi capitals in the IPL. The stadium has the pavillion named after Virat Kohli.

The stadium has the capacity of hosting 35200 fans atone time.

Eden Gardens Ground Kolkata
Eden Garden is the most historical and the most iconic cricket stadium in India established in 1964. It is also the second largest cricket stadium in India behind the Narendra Modi cricket stadium. This is the home ground for Kolkata knight riders in the IPL. This stadium is owned by the Cricket Association of Bengal. Over time this stadium has hosted so many iconic and historical matches. From hosting the first test match in India to hosting the 1987 World Cup final to the final, the 2016 T20 World Cup final, and the World Cup semi-final in 2023. In the 1996 world cup semi-final between India and Sri Lanka Eden Gardens witnessed a record crowd of 110,564. This stadium is the Colosseum for cricket fans in India.

In the start, it has a capacity of 120000 but now it has reduced to 68000.

Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Cricket Stadium Punjab
Maharaja Yadavindra Singh (MYS) International Cricket Stadium, also known as New Punjab Cricket Association Stadium is a cricket stadium in Mullanpur, Mohali, Punjab. This stadium is named after the last Maharaja of Patiala Maharaja Yadavindra Singh. This relatively new cricket stadium and it has been the home venue for Punjab King’s matches in the last year IPL 2024. In 2010 Punjab Cricket Association decided that Mullanpur should have another stadium and soon they tarted working on this project and in 2021 the stadium was ready.
Capacity
This stadium can host 38000 fans at one time.

Ekana Cricket Stadium Lucknow
The Ekana Cricket Stadium became the 52nd stadium to host international matches in India. This stadium is now called Atal Bihari Bajpaye Cricket Stadium named after the 10th Prime Minister of India. This stadium is crowned as the fifth largest cricket stadium in India. The stadium was the home ground for the Afghanistan National Cricket team for a few matches as well. This stadium serves as the host stadium for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL.
Capacity
This stadium has the capacity of 50000.
